As the current UK tour cast prepare to take SIX the Musical to China, a new cast has been announced to continue the UK and international tour.
The new Queens are Sedona Sky (Catherine of Aragon), Eve Humphrey (Anne Boleyn), Billie Kerr (Jane Seymour), Tia Antoine-Charles (Anna of Cleves), Léa Desjacques (Katherine Howard) and Amena El-kindy (Catherine Parr). Joining the cast as Alternates are Rosie Itzel, Eve Parsons and Charlotte Anne Steen, with Super Swings Eve Knagg and Lara Vina Uzcatia. The cast are backed by the all-female band, The Ladies in Waiting, led by Musical Director Sara De Sanctis.
Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, SIX is co-directed by Moss and Jamie Armitage, with choreography from Carrie-Anne Ingrouille. The design team includes Emma Bailey (Set Design), Gabriella Slade (Costume Design), Tim Deiling (Lighting Design) and Paul Gatehouse (Sound Design). The score features orchestrations by Tom Curran with music supervision and vocal arrangements by Joe Beighton. Completing the creative team are Associate Directors Alexandra Spencer-Jones and Beth Wilkinson, Associate Choreographer Nicole Bondzie and Associate UK Musical Supervisor Lauren Hopkinson. Casting is by Pearson Casting and the show is produced by Kenny Wax, Wendy and Andy Barnes and George Stiles.
The new cast will take to the stage on 22nd September at Edinburgh Festival Theatre, and then tour to Glasgow Theatre Royal, Eden Court in Inverness, Darlington Hippodrome, Woking Theatre, Southampton Mayflower, Leeds Grand Theatre, Venue Cymru in Llandudno, Southend Cliffs Pavilion, Milton Keynes Theatre, Brighton Theatre Royal and Swansea Arena, where it will have a festive run. In 2027, SIX continues touring to Sunderland Empire, Leicester Curve, The Hawth in Crawley, Chester Storyhouse, Theatre Royal Plymouth, The Arts Theatre Cambridge, Portsmouth Guildhall, Poole Lighthouse, Malvern Theatres, Cheltenham Everyman, Bord Gais Energy Theatre in Dublin, Cork Opera House, Belfast Grand Opera House, Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg, Regent Theatre in Stoke, Princess Theatre in Torquay and Bristol Hippodrome.
