This Christmas, the New Theatre Royal in Lincoln will present Beauty and the Beast as their annual family pantomime. The is Lincoln’s longest running pantomime and promises a classic yet revitalised story full of humour, heart and a talented company of actors, who have now been revealed.
Olympic medallist and Strictly Come Dancing winner Louis Smith MBE returns to the New Theatre Royal Lincoln pantomime in the role of Flash Hugo. This marks his fourth pantomime at the theatre. Also returning is Lincoln’s dearest dame Alex Singh as Mrs Tallulah Potts. This year will be Singh’s fifth pantomime in Lincoln. Shane Tyler also returns to New Theatre Royal Lincoln’s pantomime to play Frank YaFool, Flash Hugo’s sidekick.
Leading the cast as Belle and The Beast are Ellis Nicole and James Slade, boasting exceptional vocal talent set to secure the hearts of Lincolnshire audiences. Chris Williams will play Professor Ivar Brainstorm, Belle’s ingenious yet slightly bonkers father. Richard Young takes on the role of Mr Wick and Tej Brindley will play Mr Tock.
Natalia Helana takes the reigns of the New Theatre Royal Lincoln pantomime once again as Writer, Director and Producer. She will also appear as Miss Tickle.
Beauty and the Beast will open at New Theatre Royal on 1st December 2026 and run until 3rd January 2027. Tickets are on sale now.
