Andrew Lloyd Webber’s global sensation Cats is currently enjoying a summer season at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre. The production will head out across the UK and Ireland on a major tour, produced by Michael Harrison for Lloyd Webber Harrison Musicals. Initial casting for the tour has now been announced.

Casting for Grizabella will be announced later this year.
The production is directed and choreographed by Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre Artistic Director Drew McOnie. Sami Fendall is the Set, Costume and Wigs Designer, Jessica Hung Han Yun is the Lighting Designer, Adam Fisher is the Sound Designer, Guy Common is the Makeup Designer, Ingrid Mackinnon is the Intimacy Director, Kev McCurdy is the Fight Director, Will Burton is the Casting Director and Alex Parker is the Musical Supervisor.
The UK and Ireland tour of Cats opens at Theatre Royal Plymouth on 6th October 2026 and runs until 17th October 2026, before touring to Hull New Theatre, Birmingham Hippodrome, Manchester Palace Theatre, Bristol Hippodrome, Venue Cymru in Llandudno and Glasgow Theatre Royal, where it have a festive run.
In 2027, the tour will continue to Nottingham Royal Concert Hall, Marlowe Theatre in Canterury, Sunderland Empire, His Majesty’s Theatre in Aberdeen, Norwich Theatre Royal, Belfast Grand Opera House, Bord Gais Energy Theatre in Dublin, Oxford New Theatre, the Mayflower in Southampton, Edinburgh Playhouse, Alhambra Theatre in Bradford, Liverpool Empire, Woking Theatre, Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, Milton Keynes Theatre and Newcastle Theatre Royal, where the tour will close on 19th June 2027.
