Initial casting has been announced for Cinderella, this year’s pantomime at Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre.
Sheffield’s beloved, award winning dame Damian Williams is back for his 19th year in pantomime in Sheffield. He reunites with pantomime favourite Matt Daines to play sisters Aldianna and Lidleena.
CBeebies favourite Andy Day returns to pantomime in Sheffield as Dandini, having previously appeared in Mother Goose in 2017 and Dick Whittington in 2014. Strictly Come Dancing star Ore Oduba plays Prince Charming, alongside newcomer Bibi Simpson as Cinderella. Joey Wilby returns to play Buttons, having previously starred in Aladdin and Jack and the Beanstalk at the Sheffield Lyceum.
The show will be written and directed by Paul Hendy and produced by Evolution Productions, the same team behind Snow White which won Best Pantomime at The Pantomime Awards 2025. James Harrison also returns as Musical Director having won the award for Best Contribution to Music at The Pantomime Awards 2026.
Further cast members are still to be announced, including the Fairy Godmother and ensemble, as well as additional members of the creative team.
Cinderella opens at the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield on 28th November 2026 and runs until 3rd January 2027, offering audiences an additional week of pantomime magic this Christmas.
