Full casting has been announced for the upcoming UK and Ireland tour of The Silence of the Lambs, produced by Indigo Productions and Crossroads Live in association with Curve.
When FBI trainee Claire Starling is sent to interview the psychiatrist and infamous murderer Hannibal Lecter, it’s hoped his brilliant mind will help catch new sadistic killer Buffalo Bill. Another girl is missing and time is running out. But Dr Lecter has questions of his own and now Clarice must decide: keep a safe distance or let Hannibal ‘The Cannibal’ into her head?
As previously announced, British actor, singer, presenter, writer and director John Partridge dons the iconic mask as Dr Hannibal Lecter. He is joined by Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher who makes her professional stage debut as Clarice Starling, alongside Oliver Farnworth as Jack Crawford and Sam Jackson as Buffalo Bill.
Joining the ensemble are Minal Patel as Frederick Chilton, Jo Mousley as Senator Ruth Martin, Lottie Amor as Catherine Martin, Mark Peachey as Pilcher, Andrew Joshi as Peterson and Jonny Magnanti as Wertimer, with Mary Timbrell Hill completing the company.
The play is based on the novel by Thomas Harris and has been adapted by Gina Gionfriddo. It will be directed by Nikolai Foster. Completing the creative team are designer Michael Taylor, sound designer Carolyn Downing, projection designer George Reeve, composer Grant Olding, lighting designer Howard Hudson, casting director Harry Blumenau and associate director Julia Thomas.
The tour opens at Curve in Leicester on 1st August 2026 where it plays until 15th August 2026. It then travels to Newcastle, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Milton Keynes, Salford Quays, Bradford, Oxford, Peterborough, Hull, Belfast and Dublin.
After a break over the festive period, the tour continues into 2027 to Birmingham, Blackpool, Malvern, Swansea, Chester, Brighton, Tunbridge Wells, York, Coventry, Richmond, Cheltenham, Bournemouth, Wolverhampton, Sheffield, Cardiff, Buxton, Woking, Liverpool and Sunderland, where the tour concludes on 26th June 2027.
