Cast has announced the full cast for its annual family pantomime which, this year, is Dick Whittington and His Cat. Doncaster audiences will recognise some faces from previous years, whilst being introduced to some new talent.
Harry Gascogine leads the cast as Dick Whittington in his third Cast pantomime, following a year away last year. Ben Eagle returns for his fourth year as the dame at Cast and this year plays Sarah the Cook. Adam Porter Smith also returns having starred alongside Eagle as an Ugly Sister last year – this year, Smith plays Fitzy, Alice’s father and Sarah’s love interest.
The evil Queen Ratella will be played by Kimberley Ensor and The Spirit of the Bells will be brought to life by Grant McIntyre. Alice will be played by actor-musician Kat Chatterton.
The senior ensemble will include Catherine Hutchinson, Keiran Constable and Anushkha Basu. Basu also plays The Cat.
The returning creative team for Cast’s in-house pantomime includes writer Neil Hurst, director Tess Seddon, musical director Sonum Batra and percussionist and assistant musical director Taneli Clarke. Lee Affen joins the team this year as the sound designer and Tom Robbins is the production manager.
Dick Whittington and His Cat opens at Cast in Doncaster on 27th November 2026 and runs until 3rd January 2027. Tickets are on sale now.
