Following smash-hit runs in London, New York and three UK tours, Heathers the Musical is back!
Veronica Sawyer is just another nobody dreaming of a better day, but when she’s unexpectedly taken under the wings of the beautiful and impossibly cruel Heathers, her dreams of popularity finally start to come true. That is, until J.D., the mysterious teen rebel, turns up and teaches her that it might kill to be a nobody, but it’s murder being a somebody…
Leading for the company for the return of Heathers will be Gerardine Sacdalan who wowed audiences as Juliet in the UK of & Juliet, a performance that earned her a nomination for Best Professional Debut at the WhatsOnStage Awards. She is joined by Louis Hearsey as Jason ‘J.D.’ Dean, Liberty Stottor as Heather Chandler, Jessica Ibadin as Heather Duke and Lou Henry as Heather McNamara.
Also in the cast are Veronica Carabal as Ms Fleming and Veronica’s Mom, Sophie Manners as Martha Dunnstock, Markus Södergren as Kurt Kelly, Beau Jackson as Ram Sweeney, John Gurdían as Ram’s Dad, Big Bud Dean and Coach Ripper, Reuben Browne as Kurt’s Dad, Veronica’s Dad and Principal Gowan, Christian De-Gallerie as Preppy Stud and Officer, Ellouise Delooze as New Wave Party Girl, Caitlin Garcia as Drama Club Drama Queen, Alexander Howarth as Hipster Dork, Charlotte O’Rourke as Midwestern Surfer Punk, Thomas Oxley as Belgeaured Geek, Tola Sokoya as Young Republicanette and Carys Taylor as Stoner Chick.
The hit production, based on the 1989 cult film of the same name, is produced by Bill Kenwright Ltd and Paul Taylor-Mills with book, music and lyrics by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O’Keefe. Andy Fickman directs the production, alongside choreographer and associate director Gary Lloyd. Design is by David Shields, lighting design is by Ben Cracknell and sound design is by Dan Samson. The music supervisors are Jeremy Wootton and Will Joy.
Heathers the Musical opens at The Arts at Marble Arch, a new West End theatre, on 9th July 2026 and runs until 22nd August 2026. It then tours to Windsor, Leeds, Nottingham, Coventry, Darlington, Poole, Leicester, Peterborough, Sheffield, Blackpool, Cheltenham, Chichester, Dublin and Oxford.
After a Christmas break, it then tours to Hull, Liverpool, York, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Bradford, Chelmsford and Torquay.
