The producers of Here & Now, a brand-new musical presented by pop superstars Steps, have announced the full casting for its upcoming UK and Ireland tour. The show opens at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on 29 August 2025.
Ben Darcy (Pretty Woman, West End) will star as Ben, with Lauren Woolf (I Should Be So Lucky, UK Tour) taking on the role of Tracey. They join previously announced cast members including Rebecca Lock as Caz, Jacqui Dubois as Vel, Blake Patrick Anderson as Robbie, Rosie Singha as Neeta, Finty Williams as Patricia, River Medway as Jem, Chris Grahamson as Gareth, Edward Baker-Duly as Max and John Stacey as Lesley.
The wider company features a mix of seasoned performers and rising talent such as Georgia Christofi, Kade Ferraiolo, Albert Green, Harry Jack, Casey Jay, Charlie-Jay Johnson, Rosemary Annabella Nkrumah, Dean Rickards, Markus Södergren, Genevieve Taylor and Jessica Vaux.
Directed by Rachel Kavanaugh, with choreography from Olivier Award winner Matt Cole, the musical boasts an original book by Shaun Kitchener. Musical supervision, orchestrations and arrangements come from Matt Spencer-Smith, while set design is by Tom Rogers and costume design by Gabriella Slade.
Set in the lively seaside superstore Better Best Bargains, the story unfolds on a Friday night filled with music and movement. But behind the joyous atmosphere, secrets and betrayal threaten to upend lives, questioning whether love can still find a way.
Featuring many of Steps’ biggest chart hits, Here & Now celebrates the group’s iconic discography. With 14 top five singles, four number one albums and 22 million record sales, Steps have long cemented their status as one of Britain’s most successful pop acts. Songs such as Tragedy, Stomp, One For Sorrow and Better Best Forgotten are just some of the favourites included in the musical.
