The hit Broadway comedy Oh, Mary! is set to make its West End debut at the Trafalgar Theatre, with performances running from 3 December 2025 to 25 April 2026. Tickets will be available from 12pm and are expected to sell quickly following the show’s success in New York.
Written by 2025 Tony Award winner Cole Escola and directed by fellow Tony recipient Sam Pinkleton, Oh, Mary! opened at the Lyceum Theatre on 11 July 2024. It became the first production of the 2024/25 Broadway season to recoup its investment, cementing its place as a standout comedy.
Leading the cast is Mason Alexander Park, who will take on the title role of Mary Todd Lincoln. Joining them are Kate O’Donnell as Mary’s Chaperone, Oliver Stockley as Mary’s Husband’s Assistant, Dino Fetscher as Mary’s Teacher, and Giles Terera as Mary’s Husband.
The play offers a wildly imaginative take on American history, following Mary Todd Lincoln as a bored, alcoholic housewife who dreams of cabaret stardom. Her ambitions are constantly thwarted by her husband, the President of the United States, whose sexuality and political stature complicate matters in absurd and hilarious ways.
Following the conclusion of Clarkston, Trafalgar Theatre will welcome this bold and unconventional production, promising London audiences a theatrical experience that is both outrageous and unforgettable.
