Following huge demand for tickets, London’s Young Vic Theatre have announced that their production of A Steetcar Named Desire will be broadcast live to cinemas by National Theatre Live on 16 September.
In the first collaboration between the Young Vic and National Theatre Live, the performance will be broadcast to over 1100 venues in over 40 different countries.
Directed by Benedict Andrews, this brand new production of Tennessee Williams’ tragic masterpiece stars Gillian Anderson in her retutn to the London stage alongside Clare Burt, Lachele Carl, Branwell Donaghey, Otto Farrant, Ben Foster, Nicholas Gecks, Troy Glasgow, Stephanie Jacob, Corey Johnson Vanessa Kirbyand Claire Prempeh.
