London’s Orange Tree Theatre has announced it is partnering with English Touring Theatre to tour their sell out production of Terence Rattigan’s French Without Tears in 2016.
The critically acclaimed (read our 5* review here) will return to the Orange Tree for 31 performances in June 2016 then tour in the autumn.
Directed by Paul Miller, the tour will visitExeter, Harrogate, Barnstable, Cheltenham, Doncaster, Oldham, Warwick, Poole and Huddersfield with cast and full tour dates yet to be announced. During the run at the Orange Tree nearly 3,000 tickets will be available at £12 for under 30s.
First performed in 1936, Rattigan’s comedy follows the tangled romance of a group of students at Professor Maingot’s French school. As they cram for their Diplomatic exam they soon discover a new subject: girls.
