Whovians across the country will get the chance to come face to face with Daleks, Cybermen and Silence next May when the critically acclaimed concert, Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular makes its UK premiere.
A sell-out during its world premiere in Australia, the show will have a run of 12 performances in London, Cardiff, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle and Glasgow.
The concert will feature over 100 performers with music performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the BBC National Chorus of Wales.
The live music, which includes material from the forthcoming series of Doctor Who, is performed against a backdrop of key moments from the past 50 years of Doctor Who. The show will also feature apperances from many of the Doctor’s famous adversaries.
The tour will open on 23 May 2015 at The SSE Arena, Wembley before touring the country.
Tickets for the concerts will go on sale on 1st August.
