York Theatre Royal have announced the full principal cast for this year’s pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Robin Simpson returns to the venue for his seventh York Theatre Royal pantomime as dame, this year playing Dame Dolly. Tommy Carmichael and Christian Mortimer also make welcome returns following their appearances in 2025’s Sleeping Beauty, this year playing Muddles and Prince Charming respectively.
West End star, who has appeared in a myriad of pantomimes over the years, Jenny Gaynor will star as The Wicked Queen, alongside Richard David-Caine, who is best known for appearances in CBBC’s Horrible Histories and CBeebies’ Swashbuckle, as Herman Von Badapple.
Marcavia McCarthy will take on the role of Snow White, whilst the Seven Dwarfs will led by Dean Whatton. Joining Whatton will be Lucy Blenkiron, Richard Blenkiron, Willie Coppen, Stijn Keuleers, Maria Popska and Harrison Taylor.
The show is written by Paul Hendy, directed by Juliet Forster and co-produced with the award winning Evolution Productions. Further creative team members, as well as ensemble members, are still to be announced.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs opens at York Theatre Royal on 4th December 2026 and runs until 3rd January 2027. Tickets are on sale now.
