FIVE FAST FRINGE QUESTIONS with…Rebecca Crookshank

In one sentence tell us about your show.

Fear of failure can paralyze you; embracing the unfamiliar can make you feel alive.

What made you decide to bring a show this year?

The show’s been in my head for over ten years, finally it’s ready for take-off. This is my debut show as a writer/performer – it’s time to get my wings!

Any advice you’ve heard or can give to anyone coming to the Fringe for the first time?

Kate Edwards from Jammy Voo told me to prepare for a roller coaster ride and leave space to soak up the experience of just being part of the world’s largest arts festival.

What makes your show stand out from all of the others on offer?

It has original footage from my time in the Falkland Islands. Also, I think I’m the only ex-RAF Airwoman turned writer/performer at the Fringe.

What show, other than your own, do you not want to miss?

Much Further Out Than You Thought by the Molino Group.
