FIVE FAST FRINGE QUESTIONS with…Margaret Thatcher, Queen of Gameshows

With over 3000 shows at the world’s biggest arts festival, here at The ReviewsHubwe want to make the job of choosing your Edinburgh Festival Fringe shows that little bit easier. So here’sMargaret Thatcher, Queen of Gameshowsanswering our annual Five Fast Fringe Questions.

In one sentence tell us about your show.

It’s a drag comedy musical satirical game show extravaganza that’s just like all theSaturdaynight shows you remember from the 70’s except with a host who’s not in prison for sex offences.

What made you decide to bring a show this year?

I need the money, dear. Denis went down to Ladbrokes and bet the house that we’d stay in the EU so we’ve been living out of a caravan since the end of June. That, and the fact that I’m fabulous and it would be a crime to deprive people of some former prime-ministerial fun.

Any advice you’ve heard or can give to anyone coming to the Fringe for the first time?

Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and incredibly boring.

What makes your show stand out from all of the others on offer? (Don’t say that it’s because you’re in it!)

None of the other performers won a war. Plus I’ve got the best legs.

What show, other than your own, do you not want to miss?

Harry Potter and the Disappointing Aftermath (An Unofficial Sequel)on the9th and 16th August. I hear the actor playing Ron Weasley looks a lot like me…
