Edinburgh Festival FringeEdinburgh Fringe 2016Preview

With over 3000 shows at the world’s biggest arts festival, here at The ReviewsHub,we want to make the job of choosing your Edinburgh Festival Fringe shows that little bit easier. So here’s Lucy Porter answering our annual Five Fast Fringe Questions.

In one sentence tell us about your show.

It’s a mid-life celebration of everything I love, including falconry, Bowie and popping candy.

What made you decide to bring a show this year?

I always love the Fringe. I’ve been coming most years since 1992. I had a year off last year and that put a spring in my step and lead in my pencil. I can’t wait to get back to Edinburgh.

Any advice you’ve heard or can give to anyone coming to the Fringe for the first time?

Bring wellies, trainers and flip flops, the weather is changeable and you need to be prepared from the ground up. Actually, you may even want to bring skis to be on the safe side.

What makes your show stand out from all of the others on offer? (Don’t say that it’s because you’re in it!)

There’s a quiz and a cocktail cabinet. Don’t know if that will sell it to your readers, but it’s everything I need from a show.

What show, other than your own, do you not want to miss?

Sarah Kendall, she’s doing part three of a trilogy and I have loved all the others.

Finally, the boring but essential bit…
