FIVE FAST FRINGE QUESTIONS with…Helen Duff on her show Come With Me

With over 3000 shows at the world’s biggest arts festival, here at The ReviewsHub,we want to make the job of choosing your Edinburgh Festival Fringe shows that little bit easier. So here’s Helen Duff on her show Come With Me.

In one sentence tell us about your show.

It’s about my quest to have my first orgasm, so I dress as a sperm and do all sorts else (no nudity) live on stage.

What made you decide to bring a show this year?

Massive fear of missing out – I work best to deadlines and Edinburgh is the perfect way to make premium procrastinators like myself pull their finger out. Plus, if it goes well, I’ll be gaining ultimate pleasure with my audience, day in day out, during the show.

Any advice you’ve heard or can give to anyone coming to the Fringe for the first time?

Bananas are a great source of energy, but eating eight in less than three minutes on a daily basis can lead to a lot of mouth ulcers – I speak from experience here.

What makes your show stand out from all of the others on offer? (Don’t say that it’s because you’re in it!)

I dress as a sperm, then my own vagina and every single audience member in some way involved in creating the biggest climax of the Fringe at the end of the show.

What show, other than your own, do you not want to miss?

I can’t wait to to see Tessa Waters: Over Promises at Gilded Balloon, she’s a fierce physical comedian, a fellow Gaulier trained clown and I’m really excited to see what she does next after her character Womanz killed the Australian comedy circuit last year.

Finally, the boring but essential bit…
