FIVE FAST FRINGE QUESTIONS with…Fez Faanana creative director of Briefs Factory

With over 3000 shows at the world’s biggest arts festival, here at The ReviewsHub,we want to make the job of choosing your Edinburgh Festival Fringe shows that little bit easier. So here’s Fez Faanana creative director of Briefs Factory answering our annual Five Fast Fringe Questions.

In one sentence tell us about your show.

Briefs is a high powered &robustly skilled glitter bombing of circus, drag, burlesque &comedy.

What made you decide to bring a show this year?

We are bringing three shows under Briefs Factory this year: Briefs, Hot Brown Honey and Sweatshop. We wanted to come as a full posse and there is safety in numbers.

Any advice you’ve heard or can give to anyone coming to the Fringe for the first time?

Talk to artists, talk to your audience, take advantage of the support that is around you, ie. venue, tech crew, artist services &marketing. Also see stuff!

What makes your show stand out from all of the others on offer? (Don’t say that it’s because you’re in it!)

I think we have made a brand of physical theatre that is unique. Well, that’s what we try to do. It’s worked so far.

What show, other than your own, do you not want to miss?

I love a bit of skillfully, clever, whacked out anarchy so I am desperately looking forward to experiencing Christeene: Trigger.

Finally, the boring but essential bit…

Name of the show: Briefs

Venue: Assembly Hall

Dates:4 – 7, 9 – 14, 16 – 21 August 2016

Time: 22:30
