Edinburgh Festival FringeEdinburgh Fringe 2016PreviewScotland

With over 3000 shows at the world’s biggest arts festival, here at The ReviewsHub,we want to make the job of choosing your Edinburgh Festival Fringe shows that little bit easier. So here’s Des Bishop answering our annual Five Fast Fringe Questions.

In one sentence tell us about your show.

My show is pure unadulterated nostalgia for entertainment purposes with some backseat parenting and a little bit of filth thrown in.

What made you decide to bring a show this year?

Because I love coming to Edinburgh and there is no better place to perform it.

Any advice you’ve heard or can give to anyone coming to the Fringe for the first time?

Go see as many shows as you can and only allow yourself 15 minutes to feel bad about a bad show. You will be at it again in 22 hours and 45 minutes.

What makes your show stand out from all of the others on offer?

I am one of the tallest, most attractive comedians.

What show, other than your own, do you not want to miss?

I am hoping to see Chris Kent and Drew Fralick. Drew has an interesting story because he in based in Shanghai and works in the Chinese mental health system.

Finally, the boring but essential bit…

Name of the show: Des Bishop – Grey Matters

Venue: Pleasance Dome (Ace Dome)

Dates: 3 – 28 August2016 (not 15 August)

Time: 20:00
