Next up in our annual series of Fringe preview Q & A’s it’s the turn of Annie McGrath

In one sentence tell us about your show.

It is a stand-up comedy show set in the year 2017.

What made you decide to bring a show this year?

I’d have no friends if I stayed in London in August.

Any advice you’ve heard or can give to anyone coming to the Fringe for the first time?

Bring shoes that won’t get too wet in the rain. Most of the time in Edinburgh you will be hot and damp and laughing or crying.

What makes your show stand out from all the others on offer? (Don’t say that it’s because you’re in it!)

It’s Pay-What-You-Want so if you hate it then it doesn’t matter!

What show, other than your own, do you not want to miss?

I am really looking forward to Al Green’s show. He makes me laugh a lot.

Finally, the boring but essential bit:

Name of the show: Annie McGrath: Ambivert

Venue: Just the Tonic (The Attic, in The Mash House)

Dates:  3 August – 27 August 2017 (not 14)

Time: 18:20
