With time being precious during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe we challenged this year’s acts to deliver a 50-word elevator pitch for their show. This time it’s the turn of The Last One.
The Last One is brutal physical theatre and a call to arms to preserve Epic Beauty. The metaphysically anxious thoughts of a dying, anonymous pigeon mix with the last Kauai O’o bird – singing a mating song, on the eve of its extinction, waiting for a response that never comes.
What other show shouldn’t we miss?
I can’t wait to see our friends Wilderness/Annie Saunders present Our Country.
