FIFTY WORD FRINGE PITCH…Tamsin Sasha and Maisy Williams of Everything I See I Swallow

With time being precious during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe we challenged this year’s acts to deliver a 50-word elevator pitch for their show. This time it’s the turn of Tamsin Sasha and Maisy Williams of Everything I See I Swallow.

Your pitch:

A mother discovers her daughter has over 50,000 followers on Instagram by posting semi-naked images of herself online.

Exploring shifting attitudes to empowerment, feminism and sexuality across a generational divide, the show fuses theatre and circus with the erotic art of Japanese rope bondage in an unusual and compelling encounter.

What other show shouldn’t we miss? Contra, performed by Laura Murphy and directed by Ursula Martinez Summerhall from the 31 July-11 August.

A feisty feminist circus and theatre show. Dark, witty and uncompromising, it interrogates personal, social and historical occupations of the female body – we love it!

Name of your show: Everything I See I Swallow
Venue: Summerhall (Demonstration room)
Dates: 31 July – 25 August (not 1, 12, 19)
Time: 18:00
