FIFTY-WORD FRINGE PITCH: Ross Brierley

With time being precious during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe we challenged this year’s acts to deliver a 50-word elevator pitch for their show. This time it’s the turn of Ross Brierley.

Hi. My name is Ross Brierley. I’m a comedian and professional gambler, a ridiculous and unique combo. My debut hour, Accumulator, tells you all you need to know about how and why I make a living from predicting which horse is the fastest. In song! (One song)

What other show(s) shouldn’t we miss?

Sean Morley: I Apologise For My Recent Behaviour. A truly unique, unsettling, hilarious experience is guaranteed with a comedian who I’m pretty sure has only ever written one joke. It was a great joke, however.

Jack Evans: Work. Jack is usually all over the place with ideas, but having seen a preview of this show he’s ten times better focusing on one. Why do we work? What’s the point? Find out here … with jokes!

Name of your show: Accumulator

Venue: Underbelly Daisy

Dates: 1-27 August 2018 (Not 14)

Time: 16:30
