Edinburgh Festival FringeEdinburgh Fringe 2019Edinburgh Fringe PreviewScotland

With time being precious during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe we challenged this year’s acts to deliver a 50-word elevator pitch for their show. This time it’s the turn of…Polly: A Drag Rebellion.

Your pitch:

Polly is the figurehead we need to help us navigate through the modern world, but behind the spoken word, live music and drag tomfoolery may lie an ulterior motive. Multi-award-winning performer Joe Strickland presents a show that’ll entertain, enlighten, and bring you closer together with the rest of humanity.
What other show shouldn’t we miss? Apollo: Take 111 is a farce about the faking of the Moon landings and is a fun and entertaining way to celebrate one of humanity’s greatest achievements while also looking at how silly conspiracy theories can be

Name of your show: Polly: A Drag Rebellion
Venue: [email protected] Square
Dates: 2 – 24 August 2019
Time: 21:00 (50 mins)
