With time being precious during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe we challenged this year’s acts to deliver a 50-word elevator pitch for their show. This time it’s the turn of NOVAE Theatre on their show It’s Not a Sprint.
Meet Maddy, celebrating turning 30 by running a marathon – tied to a balloon. As she races Maddy does battle with herself- her inner ‘worst best friend’ – who knows her weaknesses & champions her regrets. As woman, she is worn down. As marathon runner, unprepared. By the end she needs to make a decision: “yes or no”.
