FIFTY-WORD FRINGE PITCH: Nick Revell on his show BrokenDreamCatcher

With time being precious during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe we challenged this year’s acts to deliver a 50-word elevator pitch for their show. This time it’s the turn of British comedy legend Nick Revell.

At pop-up cocktail bar on North London Fatberg, chilling. (ayahuasca margaritas – mm!) Get urgent summons to Berlin, to resolve crisis ensuing when Valdimir Putin’s buttocks claim political asylum in Germany. Sort that, (obvs)…home: – aaagh! local dreamcatchers vandalised! (by jilted Hipster Shaman) – escaped bad dreams everywhere. Collective psychic panic…

What other show shouldn’t we miss?

There will be many contenders, but I shall not miss The Satanic Rites of Robin Ince. His human warmth and enthusiasm make it a pleasure being in the same room, even if sometimes the shows are in a chaotic state. Always a joy.
