Edinburgh Festival FringeEdinburgh Fringe 2019Edinburgh Fringe PreviewPreviewScotland

With time being precious during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe we challenged this year’s acts to deliver a 50-word elevator pitch for their show. This time it’s the turn of…Leo Kearse

Your pitch:

I’ve been banned from hotels, Facebook, parties – and my venue at an Australian festival. This was due to accusations of transphobia, even though I wrote the material with a transgender woman I was dating. It’s a candid account of sex and censorship, ripping into political correctness, victim culture and ‘wokeness’.
What other show shouldn’t we miss? Jerry Sadowitz: Comedian, Magician, Psychopath. His sleight of hand extends beyond his magic to his comedy, enabling him to make incredibly offensive material appear in front of the audience, then disappear without him getting arrested.

Name of your show: Leo Kearse: Transgressive
Venue: Gilded Balloon Teviot, (Nightclub)

Dates: 31 July – 26 Aug 2019
Time: 21:15
