FIFTY WORD FRINGE PITCH…Kit Redstone on his show Passengers

With time being precious during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe we challenged this year’s acts to deliver a 50-word elevator pitch for their show. This time it’s the turn of Kit Redstone on his show Passengers.

Your pitch:

Max wants to tell you a story. He’s not entirely sure why, or even who he is; savage, peacekeeper or critic…but he’s hoping you’ll be able to help him. An absurdist journey into the mechanisms of the human mind and the incredible way that it protects itself from pain.
What other show shouldn’t we miss? ‘Die Die Die Old People Die’ by Ridiculusmus. I absolutely love their work. Beckettian gorgeous absurdist comedy which is always teetering on the verges of anguish.
Name of your show: Passengers
Venue: Summerhall, Red Lecture Theatre
Dates: 31 July-25 August (not 12, 19)
Time: 14:30
