FIFTY WORD FRINGE PITCH…George Fouracres on Gentlemon

With time being precious during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe we challenged this year’s acts to deliver a 50-word elevator pitch for their show. This time it’s the turn of…George Fouracres on Gentlemon.

Your pitch:

It’s about the Black Country, birthplace of the industrial revolution and the oldest dialect in England, my pigeon-flying champion grandad, religion, violence, jokes, bricklaying, McDonalds, Wolverhampton, animals, TV, toilets, sweets, sea shanties, and the fact that I grew up behaving like a minor aristocrat, but in a post-industrial lock-making town.
What other show shouldn’t we miss?

Pierre Novellie’s ‘You’re Expected to Care’ – very funny, very clever, and my best friend.

Name of your show: George Fouracres: Gentlemon
Venue: Bunker One – Pleasance Courtyard
Dates: 31 July; 1-17, 19-26 August
Time: 15:30(1h)
