FIFTY WORD FRINGE PITCH…Ellen Waddell, co-writer of Don’t Be Terrible

With time being precious during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe we challenged this year’s acts to deliver a 50-word elevator pitch for their show. This time it’s the turn of… Ellen Waddell, co-writer of Don’t Be Terrible.

Your pitch:

It’s a dark comedy that asks ‘Can stand-up save your love life?’ Nice guy Steve thinks so. That’s why he’s asked comedian Alice how to make people laugh. He wants to distract his girlfriend from the ‘funny guy’ at work. Unfortunately, Alice is not the guru he was expecting.
What other show shouldn’t we miss?

Alice Fraser, Mythos and John-Luke Roberts, After Me Comes the Flood (But in French) drip splosh splash drip BLUBBP BLUBBP BLUBBPBLUBBPBLUBBP!!

Name of your show: Don’t be Terrible
Venue: Pleasance Courtyard, Bunker One
Dates: Jul 31 – Aug 11, Aug 13-25
Time: 23:00
