With time being precious during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe we challenged this year’s acts to deliver a 50-word elevator pitch for their show. This time it’s the turn of Ciarán Dowd.
The greatest character comedy show ever written. Easily. By some distance. I reckon. Don Rodolfo is an arrogant, preening, chauvinistic man-child fighting his way around 17th Century Europe, having adventures and bedding anyone who comes within 5 feet. Sounds great, too bad it’s probably already sold out? It’s definitely not.
What other show shouldn’t we miss?
The Pin: Backstage – very talented and lovely boys with a great concept, should be cracking.
