FIFTY WORD FRINGE PITCH…Bodily Functions and Where to Find Them

With time being precious during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe we challenged this year’s acts to deliver a 50-word elevator pitch for their show. This time it’s the turn of…Bodily Functions and Where to Find Them.

Your pitch:

‘Bodily Functions’ is a comedy-play, challenging the taboo surrounding our own bodies and everything they do. From peeing in public to dealing with bulimia; this play will tickle your funny bone and touch your heart. Going where theatre hasn’t gone before, we break down stigmas one flush at a time.
What other show shouldn’t we miss? We love using comedy to make a statement and watching other shows do the same, so Laughing Mirror’s ‘White Girls’ which uses comedy to explore voluntourism within the Calais Jungle is definitely not to be missed! We’ve seen earlier versions of the play, so we know it’s going to be great!
Name of your show: Bodily Functions and Where to Find Them
Venue: theSpace @ Surgeons Hall, Theatre 1
Dates: 2-10 August (not 4)
Time: 19.05
