FIFTY-WORD FRINGE PITCH: A Beginner’s Guide to Populism

With time being precious during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe we challenged this year’s acts to deliver a 50-word elevator pitch for their show. This time it’s the turn of A Beginner’s Guide to Populism.

The village of Little Middleton is up in arms about plans to create Middleton Garden City. Villagers launch the Save Little Middleton campaign to preserve their community. A would-be MP takes on their cause, armed with the weapons of modern politics – fear and panic. Timely and scary dark comedy.

What other show shouldn’t we miss:

Daniel Kitson at the Stand – not in the Fringe programme and likely to sell out as soon as tickets go on sale, so I’m not saying when that’s going to be!
