NEWS: Disney on Ice to celebrate Silver Anniversary with new UK Tour.

Disney fans across the UK can celebrate once again as Mickey and Minnie Mouse put on their skating boots and whisk audiences away to four of the most iconic Disney Worlds in their Silver Anniversary Celebration which will open at Liverpool’s Echo Arena in March.

Mickey and Minnie will be joined by Goofy, Donald and Daisy Duck as they embark on an adventure of imagination taking the audiences to the magical worlds featured in The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan and Frozen.

The production features an international cast of award-winning skaters and will be choreographed alongside classic Disney hits and Rock-and-Roll classics.

The show promises to feature the biggest sets to date as the creative team whisk you away to The African Pride Lands, Neverland, Under the Sea and of course the village of Arendelle – and yes Olaf has been muted as making an appearance!

Producer Kenneth Feld of Feld Entertainment said: “It’s an extraordinary show and a family vacation all rolled into one incredible night. You really get a sense you are traveling right alongside Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and their friends.”

The Silver Anniversary Celebration will be directed by Jerry Bilk who has directed over 30 productions for Disney on Ice and will work alongside Patty Vincent to help bring some of the worlds alive. Choreography will be undertaken by Cindy Stuart with a production design by the late Robert Smith.

The UK tour will open at The Liverpool Echo Arena on 16 – 20 March, then will skate across the country including stops at: SSE Arena, Belfast (25 – 27 March), Citiwest Hotel, Dublin (1 – 3 April), Genting Arena, Birmingham (6 – 10 April), SSE Arena, Wembley (13 – 17 April), Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff (20 – 24 April), The SSE Hydro, Glasgow (28 April – 1 May), First Direct Arena, Leeds (4 – 8 May) and Capital FM Arena, Nottingham (12 – 15 May)
