The talented cast and creative team have gathered in Doncaster as rehearsals officially begin for this year’s family pantomime, Cinderella.
Written by Neil Hurst and directed by Tess Seddon – both returning after 2024’s Jack and the Beanstalk and 2023’s Beauty and the Beast – Cinderella is set to be a hilarious production that will delight all ages. Audiences can expect fantastic musical numbers, under the guidance of Musical Director Sonum Batra, with a score packed with hits that people of all ages will be tapping their feet to.

Also in the creative team will be Jasmine Gardner (Choreographer), Andy Graham (Sound Designer), Elliot Griggs (Lighting Designer), Taneli Clarke (Percussionist and Assistant Musical Director), Madison Omatseone (Costume Supervisor), Toby McFarlane (Sound Op), Tom Robbins (Production Manager), Flo Gill (Production Assistant) and Olivia Barr (Casting Director).
Taking on the central role of Cinderella is Aamira Challenger, who boasts credits at Shakespeare’s Globe and in the West End. She is joined by Joe Parker, who played Jack in Cast’s Jack and the Beanstalk, returning as Prince Charming. Actor-musician Tasha Dowd plays the beloved Buttons and Keeley Fitzgerald handles the dual roles of Dandini and Fairy Godmother. The iconic Ugly Stepsisters will be played by Adam Porter Smith and returning veteran dame Ben Eagle, with Eagle celebrating his third year in the dame role at Cast.

The company is completed by Senior Ensemble members Aaliyah Taylor-Nelson, Cameron Duncan and Millie Christie. The trio will also serve as understudies on the production.

Cinderella promises to be Cast’s most magical pantomime yet, delivering an unforgettable Christmas treat for the entire family.
Cinderella runs from 28 November 2025 until 4 January 2026. Tickets are on sale now and can be bought online or over the phone.
