The 2014 summer season may have barely finished but today Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre has announced details of their 2015 season.
Opening the season will be the staging of J.M. Barrie’s orginal stage play of Peter Pan, directed by the venues’ Artistic Director Timothy Sheader.
Next will be a production of The Seagulldirected by Matthew Dunster, who directed A Midsummer Night’s Dream in the park in 2012. Chekhov’s classic will be staged in a new translation by Torben Betts.
The team behind 2013’s award winning The Sound Of Music will return to the park to stage the classic musical Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
To round of the season the Open Air Theatre’s 2011 production ofLord of the Flies returns for just 14 performances prior to a major UK tour.
Full cast and creative team for all productions will be announced in due course.
