Next up in our annual series of Fringe preview Q & A’s it’s the turn of Sleeping Trees
In one sentence tell us about your show.
It’s three fast paced live action films based on different genres presented with just the three of us and our one man band Ben.
What made you decide to bring a show this year?
We wouldn’t dare miss it. This will be our eighth year in a row at the Fringe. We love it. We have always said we might take a break after we’ve done ten.
Any advice you’ve heard or can give to anyone coming to the Fringe for the first time?
Enjoy it. Don’t think about the money your spending or the people your getting in. Use it as a chance to make yourself a better performer and give anyone who does come and see you your all, not just reviewers.
What makes your show stand out from all the others on offer? (Don’t say that it’s because you’re in it!)
Each one has got its own unique narrative and we don’t use any props or set so we create everything ourselves physically.
What show, other than your own, do you not want to miss?
Plenty this year: Gein’s Family Giftshop, Jordan Brookes, Patrick Turpin, David McIver and Red Bastard to name a few.
Finally, the boring but essential bit:
Name of the show: Sleeping Trees at the Movies
